Volume Based Pricing:
Because setting up a print job takes the same amount of time for a small
or large job, prices are volume based as applied to printing. As
quantity increases, the cost of printing each garment decreases.
Please note that the blank garment/substrate cost is not affected by
volume.
Garment Type: From
Posters to Tee Shirts & Jackets, prices fluctuate greatly.
However in choosing your garments please keep in mind that WHITE
garments are the cheapest. LIGHT COLORED garments are slightly
more expensive, and DARK GARMENTS cost the most. The price of the
garment is a fixed cost, and is not volume based such as printing cost.
Colors: Each color in
a print requires a separate screen (see Setup/Screen Charges) to be
printed, adding to the print process and likewise the cost. A one
color print will be the lowest priced print possible. There are no
charges for custom ink colors, with the exception of specialty ink (glow
in the dark, etc.).
Setup/Screen Charges:
Setup charges apply to transferring photo ready artwork, film, or a
digital image into a film positive; exposing & developing the
screen, setting the screen(s) up on the press, and registration of the
print.
The Total Price: Each
print job is priced using the following basic equation:
Quantity * Unit
Price (Blank apparel/flatstock + printing cost per piece) + Artwork/Design
+ Setup Charges + Shipping = Total
